André Gautreau, 67, of Pré-d'en-Haut, died Thursday at his residence after a brief illness.
Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was a son of the late Honoré and Marie (Bourque) Gautreau and attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut.
He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Roland Gallen (Rufine) of Tracy, Que., Mrs. Gérard LeBlanc (Amanda) of Dieppe, Sister Irma Gautreau, of Rimouski, Que., and Généva Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut; a brother, Emery, of Pré-d'en-Haut; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Roméo, and a sister, Béatrice, died previously.
The body will be at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook, this evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
